Roosevelt Teachers are Featured Speakers!On Wednesday, March 19, 2014 many of Roosevelt's teachers traveled to New York City to be featured speakers at the "Thinking Maps Minds of Mississippi Documentary premier". Washington Rose Pre-Kindergarten teachers, Mrs. Henry, Mrs. Lipka and Ms. Langer spoke about thinking maps and early childhood education. Centennial teachers Ms. Ticali, NBCT and Mrs. Shwonick along with Washington Rose teachers Mrs. Rivera, NBCT and Mrs. Thadal spoke about thinking maps and Elementary Education in the testing years (3-6). Roosevelt High School teachers Ms. Heisig, Ms. Squillante, Ms. Incao-Rogers, Ms. Henry and Ms. Mohan talked about thinking maps and Secondary Education.
