    Information Technology Department Mission/Purpose


    The office of Information Technology provides the highest quality technology services in a cost-effective manner. We use technology to facilitate the mission of the District as it applies to teaching, learning, and office work.


    •  Provide technical support for audio/visual, computer, multimedia, web-based applications and services, and telecom services.
    • Promote effective technology integration through planning, programming, consulting, and other support activities.
    • Maintain and develop reliable, secure, and innovative information systems to support instructional and administrative functions.
    In the Information Technology Office, there are four staff members that make up the District’s support team for technology-based needs. Our secretary logs and tracks the support needs of the District in our central database and then assigns them to the appropriate Help Desk Technician. Two Help Desk Technicians make up the core team that troubleshoots all the District’s computer systems in classrooms and offices throughout the five buildings. They also perform regular system maintenance in these areas, as well as system roll-outs and other integration needs for the classroom and office. Lastly, we have a Systems Administrator that oversees the network infrastructure, deployment, and management of servers, and directs the District’s technology needs.
