Due to the circumstances surrounding COVID-19 (coronavirus), registration for the 2021-22 school year in will be entirely online.
Submitting your child’s registration helps the district determine student enrollment and accurately plan staffing, room assignments, devices, materials, etc. We ask that all families complete the online registration as soon as possible once they receive their snapcode letter or email.
We have included some frequently asked questions below. If you have any additional questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Q: How do I get started?
A: Every student is assigned an individual SNAPCODE. This SNAPCODE allows the system to prefill information into the registration form to make it easier to complete. SNAPCODES are sent home either by US Mail or email once the regisration portal is open for the school year.
Q: When was the snapcode email sent?
A: Returning student snapcodes were emailed in 2020, and sent to the guardian email listed in our system if one was provided. You will receive a separate email for each returning student.
Q: When was the snapcode letter sent?
A: Returning student snapcodes were mailed by postal service in 2020, and sent to the home address listed in our system. You would have received a separate letter for each returning student.
Q: How do I complete online registration?
A: Returning student parents need to review the pre-populated data and make any necessary updates and upload any required documents. Remember to click the [submit] button after you have completed everything; you will not be able to make any changes after you click [submit]. If this button is grayed out, then you have forgotten to answer a mandatory field, or you have an answer in an incorrect format. For example a phone number - Please use this format: ###-###-####.
Q: Do I need to upload a certified birth certificate or Proof of Age?
A: Yes. All students were required to have a certified birth certificate or official proof of age uploaded for the 2020-2021 school year. If you completed the re-registration process in 2020-2021, you will not need to provide documentation again with the exception of medical information as per New York State law.
