Integrated Algebra

Length: Year Grade Level(s): 8 Final Assessment(s): Department Examination

This course introduces the fundamentals of algebra and the use of the graphing calculator. Instruction integrates algebra and geometry, and includes additional tops in probability, statistics, and logic, while seeking to cultivate a sense of math appreciation and value. Enrollment in this course is contingent upon teacher recommendation, strong academic s in Grade 7, and maintaining good academic standing. At the end, students will sit for the NYS Regents Examination.
