We will also hosts 2 annual Board of Education retreats to ensure an effective working relationship with one another and the Superintendent.

In an effort to ensure transparency during the budget process, the Board of Education will work with our parents and community members, to develop a vision for the 2019 - 2020 academic school year. This vision will be used to guide us as we work with the Superintendent and Administration to develop a budget that will provide efficient and equitable resources that will support high quality instructional programs and services to our students, while being fiscally responsible to taxpayers.

The Board of Education will continue to advocate for funds with our local and nationally elected officials. We will also collaborate with all stakeholders in our community as well as our educational partners in an effort to reduce costs and efficiencies for our school district. In an additional effort to be fiscally responsible with our finances and reduce our budget, we will put additional procedures and processes in place to ensure that our student population consists of students who only live in Roosevelt community!

The Board of Education will review and assess security measures and the District Building Safety Plans to ensure a safe learning environment for students and staff.
