Dear Roosevelt Staff,

On behalf of myself and the Board of Education, Congratulations! The 2021-2022 school year has come to an end! I am, overtaken by the amount of hope, excitement, and confidence I felt, knowing that the future of our community, and our country, was in the capable hands of all of you. Regardless of your role, “Thank You!”

The Roosevelt Union Free School District has seen personal and academic growth from pandemic to pandemic. Through hard work, commitment, discipline, and perseverance, growth is only possible. Through an ongoing pandemic, through political turmoil both domestic and abroad, there was a light that never went out in our District, and it has lit our collective path forward towards our shared goal of proficiency in education.

Through it all, “We are Roosevelt! Empowered! Proficient! Globally Ready! Staff, it is time for you to take a bow! I often say that Roosevelt is a community that rises. We rise to every occasion, meet every obstacle head-on, and stand for what is right. I implore you all to hold onto this.

Always remember, “Roosevelt Rising!”
