NASSAU COUNTY, NEW YORK
LEGAL NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that pursuant to Section 2857 of the New Education Law and the Commissioner’s Regulations, the Board of Education of the Roosevelt Union Free School District will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at 7:00 pm, prevailing time, at the Roosevelt High School. The purpose of this Public Hearing is to hear all interested parties and citizens in connection with the proposed renewal of a charter school within the Roosevelt Union Free School District. Please note that this public hearing will be held in person. The public may also submit public comment or testimony prior to the hearing via email to districtclerk@rufsd.org or via regular mail sent to Mae Geddis, District Clerk, at Roosevelt Union Free School District, 240 Denton Place, Roosevelt, NY 11575. The Roosevelt Board of Education will hold its next Vision and Business Meeting on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. During this time, the Board anticipates making a motion to adjourn into Executive Session. The Board will reconvene in Public Session at approximately 7:00 p.m.
