ROOSEVELT, NEW YORK (DECEMBER 2025)—Roosevelt High School is proud to announce that Varsity Boys Soccer Coach Kyle Elmore has been named the AA2 Conference Coach of the Year 2025 at the Nassau County Boys Soccer Banquet. This tremendous and well-deserved honor highlights not only his exceptional coaching record but also the character, discipline and culture of excellence he brings to the Rough Rider soccer program.
Coach Elmore has been coaching boys soccer at Roosevelt High School since 2012 and has served as Head Varsity Coach since 2019. During his tenure, he has built far more than a successful team. He has shaped a program defined by sportsmanship, resilience and pride, which are all qualities that his athletes display on and off the field. His leadership, preparation and unwavering commitment to the growth of his players have positioned Roosevelt’s program as one of admiration across Nassau County.
“This honor reflects Coach Elmore’s outstanding leadership, dedication to his players, and the culture of excellence he has created within our Rough Rider soccer program,” said Superintendent of Schools Dr. Shawn Wightman. “His commitment goes far beyond the sidelines, and he encourages teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship and pride in every student-athlete he mentors.”
