On April 15, 2026, Roosevelt Middle School partnered with No Child Eats Alone by Fidelis Care and the Nassau County Police Department to provide an engaging and informative presentation on bullying prevention and awareness. More than 100 students participated in the event, gaining valuable insights into recognizing bullying behaviors, supporting their peers, and fostering a culture of kindness and respect within our school community.
The presentation encouraged meaningful discussions about empathy, responsibility, and the importance of standing up against bullying. We are grateful to our partners at Fidelis Care and the Nassau County Police Department for sharing their expertise and helping to educate our students on this important topic.
A special thank you goes to Amun Raheem for his dedication and hard work in organizing this event. His efforts helped make this valuable learning experience possible for our students and contributed to its overall success.
